4 Arrested After Marijuana Was Delivered To Jail

Four people, including two inmates, face charges after a package of marijuana was delivered to the St. Lawrence County Jail.

The sheriff's department said 31 year old Wendy Dalton of Norwood arrived at the jail's bail/property window on November 9 with a package.

The package was intended for an inmate, 26 year old Cory Harrison, officials said.

Deputies said a corrections officer thought the package smelled suspicious, and upon further inspection, found four balloons filled with marijuana.

Officials said Dalton received the package from 35 year old Kimberly Ling of Potsdam, who had a conversation about the package with another inmate, 31 year old Corey Printup.

All four were charged with second-degree promoting prison contraband.

Ling, Printup and Harrison were additionally charged with conspiracy.
