5 Arrested In Watertown Cocaine Bust

A drug raid in Watertown Wednesday ended with the arrest of five people and the seizure of $4,500 worth of cocaine.

The Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force searched Apartment 2 at 324 Stone Street at around 5:20 a.m.

Officials said they seized more than an ounce and a half of crack and powder cocaine as well as $1,450 in cash.

Police said the drugs have a street value of more than $4,500.

The five people arrested at the apartment were each charged with felony counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

The suspects are:

- Adam Snyder, age 29, Apartment 2, 324 Stone Street
- Angel McCabe, age 25, Apartment 2, 324 Stone Street
- Shawna Wilson, age 34, Apartment 2, 324 Stone Street
- Joshua Thurston, age 23, Apartment 2, 324 Stone Street
- Travis Minor, age 25, 27996 Silver Street, Theresa

Thurston was additionally charged with a second count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

All five were arraigned in Watertown City Court and ordered held in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building Jail.

Bail was set at $15,000 each for Snyder and Thurston.
