Former SUNY Canton Students Sentenced To Prison

Three former SUNY Canton students convicted of assaulting a fellow student last October will spend time in state prison.

In St. Lawrence County Court Tuesday, 20 year old Daryl Tucker (pictured above) and 19 year old Roody Dorfeuille were sentenced to 12 years in prison in connection with the assault on Matthew Rivera in Canton last fall. 

They were both convicted of first-degree gang assault in May, but acquitted of attempted murder charges. 

A third suspect, 18 year old Jevaughn Francis, convicted of one count of second-degree assault was sentenced to three years in state prison.
