520 Pounds Of Pot Seized In Lewis County

Several law enforcement agencies worked together in Lewis County recently to harvest hundreds of pounds of marijuana.

Sheriff's deputies say they, along with state police and forest rangers, seized 520 pounds of marijuana.
 
They say they harvested more than 200 plants from wooded areas in the towns of West Turin and Croghan.
 
Officials say now that fall is upon us, more harvests are expected.
 
Deputies say arrests are pending.
