AWOL Fort Drum Soldier Convicted Of Murder

An AWOL Fort Drum soldier has been convicted a murdering a minister in Virginia.

It took a jury just 90 minutes to find Daniel Smith guilty in the shooting death of Huntington pastor Mark McCalla.  

Smith fingered another AWOL soldier, Stephen Wilson, as the trigger man.

Wilson hasn't been tried.

Smith faces life in prison.
