$600K In Pot Plants Seized In St. Lawrence County

Law enforcement officials have seized nearly 900 marijuana plants this month around St. Lawrence County.

Officials from the county Drug Task Force, State Police and Border Patrol rounded up the plants over the last three weeks.

Aviation units from the State Police and Border Patrol located the plants during flyovers.

More than 340 pot plants were seized in the town of Parishville and more than 130 plants were removed in the town of Oswegatchie.

The estimated street value of the pot was put at over $600,000.

In all, seven people were charged with unlawfully growing marijuana.
