Haunted House in Watertown

The Paddock Arcade in Watertown has been taken over by ghosts, witches, and goblins.

In the annual haunted house, there are frightening sights at every corner.

Visitors enjoyed the rising of Frankenstein, a fight among the pirates of the Caribbean, a scary fortune teller, and a mummy coming to life.

Ada Bartlett plays the gypsy, and she says she loves seeing the reaction of people when they come in.

"I tone it down if it's little kids," she says, "But if it's not a little child, I tell them they better stick close to their guide or they're going to be lost in the halls forever."

Lester Beyer has been participating in the haunted house for decades.

"I think this is our best year ever," he says. "We seem to have a lot of people, and they're getting right into the haunted house."

More than 500 people braved the haunted Paddock Arcade this year, and they had the chance to see the newest exhibit: the snake pit.
