While Democratic Congressional candidate Bill Owens got some last minute campaign help Monday morning from Vice President Joe Biden, Conservative candidate Doug Hoffman brought in some big names to rally voters Monday evening.

A Hoffman campaign rally at the Watertown Fairgrounds featured country music star John Rich and former U.S. senator, 2008 presidential contender and "Law & Order" star Fred Thompson.

The rally also included an introduction by Captain Scott O'Grady, a former Air Force fighter pilot who gained prominence after his F-16C was shot down by a Bosnian Serb.

The film "Behind Enemy Lines" is loosely based on his story.

The rally was held at the Jefferson County Agricultural Society Exhibition Hall.

Over the weekend, Hoffman picked up endorsements from former New York Governor George Pataki and former New York City Mayor and presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani.
