LIVE On Our Website Tonight: Watch Streaming Video From Each Headquarters

7News brings you a first this election night.  With the help of Steve Weed Productions of Watertown, we're providing live, raw video streams from three locations tonight:

And 7News reporters Jeff Nelson with Owens and Alex Field with Hoffman will be offering extra information throughout the night.  They will occasionally stand in front of the camera and offer information or conduct a live interview.  And they will blog using a text window that will update live.  The window is right below the video stream on their pages.

A few things to remember:

  • These are live, raw video streams.  You might hear someone in the crowd say something inappropriate.  It's unlikely, but possible.
  • Our crews in the field may have to disconnect from the stream for periods of time to take the camera elsewhere.  When that happens, you should see a graphic that tells you which feed you're watching, and it may have an audio test tone on it.
  • You may want to have two or even all three streams open at once.  If so, make sure your computer can handle the load.
  • This is our first time using this technology, which sends the video back to the TV station and to you using the internet.  Things can go wrong, and, if Murphy's Law is correct, they probably will.
