7-Eleven Selling North Country Stores

7-Eleven is putting the Wilson Farm stores it owns in the north country up for sale.

According to Convenience Store News, 7-Eleven is selling 30 stores across New Yorkl state, including two in Watertown, and one each in Potsdam, Lake Placid and Saranac Lake.

The convenience store chain bought 188 Wilson Farm stores in 2011.

Company officials say the 30 stores don't fit in 7-Eleven's long-term strategic plans.

None of the stores carry the 7-Eleven name.
