7 News Reporters Win Journalism Awards


Several 7 News reporters have won or have been nominated for journalism awards.

John Moore won a Syracuse Press Club Award in the best documentary category for his series "The Shrinking Service."

John is nominated for best series in the New York State Associated Press Broadcasters Association, again for "The Shrinking Service."

Caitlin Cissne is nominated for best interview for her piece, "Vigilante Dad," as well as best feature for "Alive Day."

John Friot and Matt McClusky are nominated in the best spot news category for "Alcoa Fire."

Friot is again nominated for "Muslims Monitored" as continuing news.

The nominees will receive either first-place or special mention awards on June 1 at the annual NYSAPBA awards banquet in Saratoga Springs.
