The victim of an alleged drug-related stabbing in Ogdensburg is jailed without bail after allegedly using a small handgun to rob a man in a Wal-Mart parking lot off the Ford Street Extension.

32-year-old Lawrence Grenier III, of 5394 State Route 812, remains jailed without bail on a felony charge of second degree attempted robbery.

City Police say Grenier was wearing a red cloth mask over his face when he allegedly pointed what appeared to be a small gray handgun at the victim demanding money.

Police say after a brief struggle Grenier dropped the victim's wallet and fled into a nearby wooded area where he was apprehended by officers.

In August of 2009, Grenier was the victim of an apparent stabbing in Ogdensburg.
