The response to the Black Clawson fire this morning was swift and heavy as in the last month, two suspicious fires have broken out in that area of Pearl Street in Watertown.

Investigators say that the fires are not connected to today's blaze, which started after a homeless man who had been squatting at the site, left some lit cigarettes in a metal container.

Crews had the fire under control in a matter of minutes.

The homeless man was questioned about the earlier fires at the plant, but it was determined that he was not a part of them and will most likely be charged with trespassing.
