Gaffney Drive Intersection Closing Wednesday

If your commute takes you near the intersection of Commerce Park and Gaffney drives in Watertown, you might want to avoid that area Wednesday.

The Water Department is installing a new water main on Commerce Park Drive and a portion of the project requires crews to pass through the Gaffney Drive intersection.

Beginning Wednesday at 8 a.m., southbound traffic on Gaffney Drive will be detoured onto Commerce Park Drive.

Northbound traffic exiting Stateway Plaza are urged to use the Arsenal Street exit.

Crews are expected to have the area reopened by 5 p.m. Wednesday.
