Friday: Madrid Bridge To Re-Open

The state route 345 bridge in Madrid is set to re-open, ending a frustrating year for people who drive in the area.
 
The bridge was to re-open 'no later than Monday,' and could open as early as Friday, constructon company officials told 7 News.
 
The bridge - which spans the Grasse River - had to close in 2008, after cracks were found.
 
The only problem? The bridge conects two parts of Madrid, and without it motorists had to take an eight mile detour.
 
An official ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Thursday, December 3 at 2 p.m.
