A Champion home has been destroyed after a fire Saturday evening.

Great Bend 1st Assistant Fire Chief Tim Thomas says seven departments fought the flames at the home on the Taylor Rd.

Thomas says when he arrived the on scene, the building was already engulfed in flames.

Because the home is in a rural location, the crews had to truck in their own water supply.

No injuries have been reported.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the fire .
