Tools

More than a dozen part-time employees have been let go at the Watertown's Sam's Club store as part of the company's decision to replace nearly 10,000 part-time workers involved in product demonstrations at warehouse clubs across the country.

The company says it's replacing the workers with a third-party marketing company.

Also eliminated were at least two marketing positions in Watertown.

Parent company Wal-Mart says those let go will be able to apply for jobs with the new marketing firm.
