Update: Plane Moved To HangarA Cape Air flight that skidded off the runway at Watertown's airport Monday afternoon was moved to a hangar Tuesday. As a result, the airport's second runway was to reopen Tuesday afternoon.
The plane was landing from Albany. As it touched down, the pilot discovered he had "little to no braking action," Haynes said. 7 News reporter Jeff Nelson, on scene, reported the plane hit a patch of ice. One passenger told Nelson the people on the plane didn't feel a big impact when the plane went off the runway. A Federal Aviation Administration official was on scene Tuesday, investigating the incident. Most Popular |
