For the 144 soldiers of the 563rd Military Police Company, hearing the words 'welcome home' are music to their ears.

Especially for Clark Bartholomew, his wife Tanya and their son, the North Country is their home and they hope that it will stay that way for quite sometime.

For the past year, the 563rd MP Company has been in Iraq, training police teams and aiding in convoy security.

President Barack Obama has said that with the help of U.S. forces like the 563rd, he hopes to have the mission in Iraq complete and troops withdrawn by the end of 2011.

And while those who have returned are grateful to be back on U.S. soil, they are thinking about those they left overseas.
