Homes for Our Troops recipient, Roy Mitchell, says that the walls are being painted (thanks to the early child development class at BOCES) and flooring and tile are on sight and ready to go this weekend.

"Things are coming along really well."

There are a few more things that are needed as the home building heads into the final stretch.

"We need appliances for the kitchen, washer and dryer, and as we progress into spring, landscaping for the outside and some fencing."

The Mitchell children are excited, choosing colors for their rooms and watching their new home become a reality.
