Shelter Boxes for Haiti

Tools

Watertown's Noon and Sunrise Rotary clubs have teamed up to raise money to buy shelter box kits.

The kits are designed to give those suffering in Haiti the necessities needed to survive.

They include cooking supplies, sleeping gear, and shelter.

"When Haiti hit, our club was meeting a couple days later," says Sunrise Rotary President George Mead. "Someone suggested we buy a box, and somebody suggested we buy five, so our club did, and then we issued a challenge to all the other clubs in our districts to raise money for more shelter boxes."

If you'd like to help, you can stop by the Salmon Run Mall Sunday and make a donation.
