Super Bowl Sunday is one of the busiest days of the year for local businesses.

It's so busy that Home Deli in Watertown, which normally isn't open on Sundays, opens its doors just for the occasion.

"It's a huge day," says owner Anthony Burnash. "You do all your business in about three hours, so it makes it the best day of the year usually."

The staff at Home Deli began preparing for Super Bowl Sunday on Friday.

Their first order came in several days before the big game.

Burnash says the busiest time of the day for the business is right before the game starts, from 4pm to 6pm.

That means instead of watching the game, they'll likely be cleaning up.

However, for Home Deli and other local businesses, it's a small price to pay for a piece of the Super Bowl pie.

Experts say Americans typically spend $55 million a year on Super Bowl food.
