Snowmobiler Plans 4,000 Mile Trek

Sandra Bliven, 65, of Chaumont plans to brave the cold temperatures and set out on a 4,000 mile trek from Michigan to Alaska.

The goal is to raise money for Diabetes.

Bliven says while she'll enjoy the ride, the best part is helping researchers get closer to a cure for the disease.

"The money that we're raising is not going to go to the corporate Diabetes," she says. "It's going directly to the research center in Miami, Fla., at the University of Miami."

Bliven is hoping to raise $2,000 before she sets out on her trip later this week.
