A 26 year old Canton businessman, who sold cocaine to an undercover police officer, is going to prison.

Ainsley Edwards of 55 Sweeney Road in Potsdam was sentenced in St. Lawrence County Court Monday to four years in prison and five years probation.

In a plea bargain arrangement, Ainsley pleaded guilty to a felony count of second-degree sale of a controlled substance.

He sold three ounces of cocaine to an undercover officer on May 1, 2009.
