Rick Lucas, the District 8 Representative for Lewis County and owner of the Montague Inn, says the weekend delivered more business to the area than he's seen in a few years.

"When you get the snow in just this area, it's really amazing.  Alot of sleders and a lot of people coming to see the sleders."

People from all over the U.S. came to the North Country to utilize the popular trails that connect stops and inns for miles.

"We do have quite a few locals, but this time of year we get a big influx of out-of-towners."

The last few warm winters have made it difficult to keep coming, but Lucas is positive that this kind of weather is kind to people with businesses on the Tug Hill.
