Accident in Town of Pamelia Knocked Out Power

An accident in the Town of Pamelia knocked out power to more that 1,000 homes and businesses on Thursday.

State Police say a car crashed into a utility pole on Route 342, but the cause of the accident is still under investigation.

Eugene Cooke, 22, of Fort Drum, and Michael McDonald, 21, of Auburn, were both transported to Samaritan Medical Center.
