Inmate Accused Of Assaulting Corrections Officer

An inmate in the Watertown Correctional Facility is accused of assaulting a corrections officer.

State police arrested 26 year old Isaac Quiles on a charge of second-degree assault.

Quiles, an inmate at the prison, is accused striking a correctional officer with intent to prevent him from performing his duties.

Police said the incident happened on March 8 at about 6:45 p.m.

The CO suffered bruising above his right eyebrow. 

Quiles was arraigned in Watertown Town Court returned to prison without bail.
