ATM Theft Trial Delayed

The grand larceny trial of a Dekalb man accused of stealing an ATM from St. Lawrence University's bookstore has been delayed a day.

Jurors were seated Wednesday, but the court has a full day of other matters involving the Judicial Diversion Program causing the delay.
Opening arguments are now expected Friday morning.
Joseph Lugo, 24, is accused of stealing an ATM containing $35,000 from the vestibule of Brewer Bookstore in November 2012.
A co-defendant, 22 year old Brandon Crandall, pleaded guilty in July to grand larceny and was placed on interim probation.
The ATM and about $18,000 cash were recovered.
