A Philadelphia man is recovering in a Syracuse hospital after an ATV accident in the town of Theresa Saturday night.
It happened just after 10:30 p.m. on the Kelsey Road.
Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies say 34-year-old Ricky Gagnon had been a passenger on an ATV driven by his wife, when she swerved to avoid hitting another ATV stopped on the road.
Gagnon was thrown from the vehicle.
He was not wearing a helmet.
He was taken to Samaritan Medical Center then transferred to Upstate Medical University Hospital in Syracuse, where he was listed in good condition Sunday afternoon.
