Absentee Ballots Counted, King Wins Judge Race


The Lewis County Board of Elections finished counting its absentee ballots Thursday and Republican Dan King remains the unofficial winner of the race for county judge.

King received 454 absentee votes while Democrat Kevin McArdle got 371.

This brings the total vote count to 5,359 for King and 5,030 for McArdle.

On the night of the election, King had 51 percent of the vote while McArdle had 49 percent.
