A 62 year old Adams woman was rushed to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after her minivan left the road and overturned.

The accident happened on Route 3 near the Jeff-Lewis BOCES campus in the town of Watertown.

Jefferson County sheriff's deputies said Betty Castor may have suffered from a diabetic attack, which caused her to drive off the road.

Officials said she was injured by broken glass.
