Update: Wing's Mother 'Lives In Fear' As Trimm Released

Dustin Trimm WWNY

The mother of Jason Wing says she now has to 'live in fear.'

That, after her son's accused killer was freed from jail.

Dustin Trimm, 37, was released from St. Lawrence County jail in Canton shortly before 9 a. m. Thursday after his father posted $250,000 bail.

Trimm, a resident of Winthrop, is charged with second degree murder for allegedly shooting 21 year old Jason Wing three times and burying his body near Raymondville in 2010.

Bail was set at a March 26 hearing. Wing's family was angry over the possibility Trimm could be released.

Wing's mother, Roxanne Stratton, on Thursday repeated her criticism of county Judge Jerome Richards for setting bail, telling 7 News "It's not fair, a killer should not be walking the street."

Stratton said "We have to live in fear until he is locked up again. They don't know what he is capable of."

Wing, pictured below, went missing in August 2010. His body was recovered in February.
