Adams Field Days Underway for 102nd Time!Labor Day Weekend is a big one for residents of southern Jefferson County. It's time for the Adams Field Days! 7 News stopped by Adams Saturday morning as final preparations were underway for this year's 102nd annual celebration. All proceeds from the Adams Field Days go to the Adams Fire Department, which puts on the event every year. Organizers say the Field Days have a special meaning for the community and fire department members: "Not only coming here to enjoy it as one of our guests, but we have a good time putting it on, too," explained the Adams Fire Department's Bob Simpson. The Field Days continue throughout the long Labor Day weekend. There will be a Classic Car Show Sunday, and a parade through town Monday to wrap up this year's event. Most Popular |
