Antique Boat Museum Hosts Classic Car Show

It was vehicles, not vessels, creating a stir along the St. Lawrence River in Clayton Saturday.

The Antique Boat Museum hosted its 2nd annual Classic Car Show.

More than 50 cars were on display - some dating back to the 1930s.

Car enthusiasts in attendance were also given the chance to vote in a variety of categories, including the car they would most like to drive home in.

Organizers say the river is a perfect setting for classic cars.

"See the museum setting, you know, here you are, you have some of the best boats in the world, you have some of the best cars in the world here, and that's a great combination," said Michael Gagliardi, event organizer.

"As we like to call it, 'Surf and Turf,'" he added.

And for the car lover that missed out this year, don't worry. Organizers say the third annual Classic Car Show is already in the works.
