An Antwerp woman was accused of having crack cocaine this week, according to a press release issued Wednesday by Gouverneur village police.

Police said they stopped Matisha L. Wineglass Tuesday for a traffic infraction. Because she was driving with a suspended license, "further investigation into the stop led officers to call for the assistance of a K9 officer," who found 5.5 grams of crack.

Wineglass was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance third degree with intent to sell, a felony, tampering with physical evidence, a felony, and aggravated unlicensed operation third degree, a misdemeanor.

She was jailed on $15,000 bail.

Police said Wineglass is 32, and that she lives on Route 26.
