Authorities Seek Public's Help in Search for Missing ManThe Jefferson County Sheriff's Department is asking for your help, to find Shane Powell, a 22 year-old man, who officials say abandoned his silver S.U.V. on State Park Road in the Town of Lyme on November 12th. Powell is currently enlisted in the Navy, stationed in Pensacola Florida and listed as a deserter. Powell's family says they have not heard from him in several weeks. Powell is a white male, about 6 ft. tall, 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
