Bail Cut In Half For Accused Rapist

A Massena businessman accused of raping a teenage girl in his store has had his bail cut in half.
 
St. Lawrence County Judge Jerome Richards reduced bail from $50,000 to $25,000 for 34 year old James Roshia Jr. during his arraignment on rape charges Wendesday afternoon in county court.

Roshia is accused of locking an 18 year old female inside his Time Capsule Games shop on West Orvis Street on May 1 and sexually assaulting her.

The judge told Roshia he was not to have any contact with children under 18 if he was able to post bail.
