Big cuts are coming to South Jefferson Central School District next year, if voters approve the 2012 - 2013 budget.
That budget calls for 11 positions to be eliminated on top of 43 cuts made in the last two years.
Superintendent Jamie Moesel says the budget situation has been very challenging over the last few years and cutting staff is difficult.
"We look at our core curriculum and our core programs and try to maintain those as best we can," said Moesel.
A budget hearing was scheduled for Monday night at 7 at the district office building.
