Body of Missing Fulton Man Believed to be Found

Oswego County Sheriff's Investigators have announced the body of an adult male has been found by volunteer searchers off County Route 53 in the town of Scriba, just outside of Oswego.

Authorities say search and rescue teams from New York and New Jersey were in the area looking for 46 year-old Ray Gregory of Fulton.  Gregory was last seen in Oswego on November 5th.  His car was found abandoned on Route 53 last Saturday morning.

According to a press release, investigators reported the body was found about a mile from the scene of the crash; 400 yards from the roadway in an large field.  Investigators believe the body may be that of Gregory.

The body was transported by ambulance to the Onondaga County Medical Examiner's Office, where the victim will be identified and the cause of death will be determined.
