Brasher Falls School Officials Check Backpacks Following Threat

Because of a threat of violence, the Brasher Falls school district started the day out differently.

Principal Lisa Grenville says all middle and high school students were sent directly to the gymnasium after they got off the buses Monday morning.

Their backpacks were checked by New York state troopers.

Grenville wouldn't say if anything was found, but said no charges were filed.

School resumed after the backpacks were checked.
