Bronx Men Arrested for Allegedly Abandoning Bags Containing Drugs, Loaded Handgun

Two Bronx men have been arrested for allegedly abandoning duffle bags containing drugs, a loaded handgun and cash at the McDonald's in Adams.

Police say on Friday, 17 year-old Shon Dutton and 19 year-old Andre Bradley abandoned their duffle bags in the McDonald's Lobby after seeing a police officer. 

According to police, the bags contained an unregistered loaded handgun, 21 bundles of heroin, oxycodone, codeine, marijuana and about $6,000 in cash.

Both are facing charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 5th degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree.

Dutton and Bradley were arraigned in the Town of Adams Court and sent to the Jefferson County Jail on $25,000 and $10,000 cash bail respectively.

The Village of Adams Police Department is continuing their investigation into the incident.
