CBS News Crew In Area To Track Down TI Dressing OriginsWhat's in a name? When it comes to a popular salad dressing called Thousand Islands, it's more than a name. It's part of north country history. CBS correspondent Martha Teichner joined 7 News This Morning for a telephone interview. She said she's enjoying tracking down the origins of Thousand Islands dressing. "I think because it's local lore and you can trace it and it's fun." she said. "It's just one of those things that you can't stop thinking about it once you start and wonder what the connections really are." The location doesn't hurt, either, she said. "It's also a way to see a beautiful part of the country. I've never been up here before."
