Calcium Man Faces Shoplifting, Drug Charges

A Calcium man accused of shoplifting from Wal-Mart faces an additional charge after police found heroin in his possession.

Jefferson County sheriff's deputies say 26 year old Sandy Oney allegedly took nearly $330 worth of video game accessories from the outer Arsenal Street store.
While searching him during the shoplifting arrest, deputies say they found a small quantity of heroin and a hypodermic needle.
Oney was charged with petit larceny and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He was arraigned in Brownville town court and sent to jail on $500 bail.
