Canton Author Writes Children's Book About The Zodiac

Tools

There is a magical and sometimes spiritual element involved with looking at the stars and constellations on a clear dark night.

An author from Canton is helping kids better understand the Zodiac meanings.

Courtney Scriminger, who writes under the pen name Rayne Storm, has released another of her earth-based spiritual books - this time exploring the basic fundamentals of the astrological Zodiac through trivia, puzzles and worksheets.

"In the Night Sky: The Astrological Zodiac For Children" helps understand each of the 12 signs of the zodiac and their significance.

The author says the book not only integrates a new look at spiritual beliefs, but helps make better sense of the influences that surround them.

"They can see what's out there to learn, to explore from a vantage point that they can understand and then let them take the door that they're going to go from," said Scriminger.

The author will host a meet and greet at St. Lawrence University's Brewer Bookstore May 3 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Copies of the book can be ordered at www.rayneannastorm.com.
