Update: Police Identify People Involved in Three Vehicle CrashState Police are investigating a three vehicle crash that happened Saturday evening in the town of LeRay. It happened just before 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of Routes 11 and 26. Police say 25 year-old Raymond Goss, a soldier at Ft. Drum and 49 year-old Wilson Stevenson of Evans Mills were making left hand turns at the intersection when a tractor trailer, driven by 43 year-old Joseph Burd, of Pennsylvania drove through the intersection and hit both vehicles. The driver of the tractor trailer maintains the light was green. Stevenson was taken by helicopter to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse where he is being treated for a broken neck. No one else was injured. No tickets have been issued at this time. State Police are continuing their investigation. |
