Carthage Free Library Reopens After Makeover

Call it Extreme Makeover: Library Edition!

After a year-long million dollar construction project, Carthage Free Library reopened Thursday.

You'll notice big changes.

An addition nearly doubled the building's size.

There's more room for books, computers and new areas for children and teens.

"We just love the way it turned out from the design project through the construction project," said Linda McCullough, library director.

The library also includes a meeting room, a kitchen and handicapped accessibility.
