Carthage School District to Hold Community Forum

Tools

Residents of the Carthage Central School District are invited to come make their voices heard Tuesday night.

The board of education is holding a public forum after voters shot down two capital projects in the last two years.

The forum is an effort to open up communication between voters and the board.

Superintendent Peter Turner says everyone who lives in the district can participate.

"We haven't set any parameters. Any topic that comes up, comes up. People can tell us what we're doing right or they could tell us what we could do better," said Turner.

If you're interested in offering your thoughts or just listening, the community forum is Tuesday beginning at 6 p.m. in the Carthage Middle School cafeteria.
