Carthage Middle School students were singing and dancing the bullies away Thursday.
The school held its second annual anti-bullying celebration.
The event kicks off the school's anti-bullying campaign. Kids say the program has inspired them to step in when they see others being picked on.
"It's something we started last year," said seventh grader Lelan O'Brien. "I've seen a lot of people do that, stop bullies."
"We want everybody to feel comfortable," said principal Alicia Henry, "and come to school and feel like it's a great place to be."
