Chamber Of Commerce Hopes To Move By Winter

The Greater Watertown-North Country Chamber of Commerce has put its building up for sale and is already looking for a replacement.

The current office building on Coffeen Street has housed the chamber since 2007, but now it's too small.

The chamber has 11 employees and, if grants come through, could be adding more soon.

If that happens, more space will be needed.

The chamber is in the early stages of looking.

"The board of directors and myself are meeting with many developers, real estate brokers to see what our options are. We've really tried to look at what our mission is and what types of buildings and locations would fit in with our mission," said Lynn Pietroski, chamber president.

The chamber hopes to be out of its current building and in at least an interim location by winter.
