Charges Filed Against Driver Who Ran Into Ellisburg BuildingThe driver of the SUV that slammed into a building in the town of Ellisburg Wednesday evening is facing a drunk driving charge. Jefferson County sheriff's deputies say 23 year old Joshua Lancaster was charged with for driving while intoxicated, speed not reasonable and crossing a hazard marking. One of the passengers, 23 year old Elliott Russell, was seriously injured and airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Lancaster and 21 year old Kiersten Chase - who deputies say is Lancaster's wife - were taken to Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown for treatment. Police say additional charges could be filed.
